Job Description
Role Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-driven Senior Account Executive for one of our client's based at ANDHERI WEST to lead core accounting functions, oversee financial reporting, and ensure compliance. This role goes beyond book keeping requiring strong analytical ability, ownership of financial closures, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Accounting & Financial Control
• Oversee and manage end-to-end accounting operations in Tally
• Ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions (income, expenses, assets, liabilities)
• Review and validate entries, ledgers, and reconciliations
• Maintain integrity and accuracy of books of accounts Month-End & Year-End Closing
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes
• Ensure timely and accurate closure of accounts
• Handle provisions, accruals, and adjustments
2. MIS & Financial Reporting
• Prepare and review Monthly MIS reports, including Profit & Loss Statement(P&L), Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statements
• Provide variance analysis and actionable financial insights to management
• Support decision-making through data-driven reporting
3. Compliance & Taxation
• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements
• Coordinate with auditors, CA, and regulatory authorities
• Assist in audits (internal & external) and ensure documentation readiness
4. Cash Flow & Financial Planning
• Monitor and manage cash flow and working capital
• Track receivables and payables, ensuring timely collections & payments
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities
5. Process Improvement & Team Support
• Identify and implement improvements in accounting processes
• Guide and supervise junior accounting staff (if applicable)
• Ensure adherence to internal financial controls and policies
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in commerce/ accounting/ finance
(M.Com/ CA Inter preferred)
• 3 to 6years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong proficiency in Tally and MS Excel (advanced level preferred)
• In-depth understanding of accounting standards and financial reporting
• Stronganalytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills
• Experience in handling audits and compliance independently
• Knowledge of financial planning & analysis (FP&A)
• Leadership or team-handling experience
• Good Command over language
