Your Key responsibilities

• Ensure that the TPR Risk Management is consistent with NFRM Framework and Regulatory expectations, across Risk and Controls Assessments & Assurance, Findings and Event Management, Scenario Analysis, and other framework requirements.,
• Provide valuable feedback to the 1st LoD, while ensuring independent 2nd line oversight of the transaction processing risk practices across the group, using a risk-based approach, focusing on key residual risks and regulatory issues.
• Partner with all businesses, and key stakeholders to develop TPR risk themes and drive improvements / enhancements in the control process to uplift the risk management practices.
• Represent the TPR global agenda in local and regional internal governance councils/operating forums
• Engagement with Global Senior Management, Group Audit, and Regulators as part of key responsibilities, ensuring effective communication and alignment with regulatory / audit expectations
• Define, implement, and manage the various TPR Minimum Control Standards enabling 1st LoD to align to control requirements and drive initiatives for control gap closures.
• Manage review & reporting of TPR Metrics, driving initiatives to uplift transparency & measurement on risk profiles and zones.
• Perform Thematic Deep-Dives on the Operational Risk Events & Findings to understand most impacted Risk Types, Root Causes and Remediation actions.

• Extensive experience with a minimum of 15 years in business, finance, risk management, consulting, or similar role within financial services
• Advanced degree or diploma with relevant certifications, in areas such as Management or Accountancy
• Comprehensive understanding of the transactions and financials products offered by a Tier 1 investment bank as well as the supporting infrastructure and controls
• A robust understanding of Operational Risk / Non-Financial Risk Management principles and practices
• Demonstrable experience of developing strong working relationships with business areas to facilitate successful risk management within the 3 LoD model
• Experience of working with senior stakeholders within a high-pressure dynamic environment and be willing to challenge as required.
• Understanding of the regulatory environment in the business and more broadly the regulator perspectives on non-financial risk
• Demonstrated ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing to diverse audiences, including stakeholders, teams and senior management
