Job Description Position: Logistics Supervisor Experience Required: 5 to 8 years Industry Expertise: Port and Logistics Operations (Bitumen Handling Preferred) Location: Vikhroli, Mumbai Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Logistics Supervisor with expertise in port handling and logistics operations. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in managing bitumen logistics and handling. The candidate will ensure efficient coordination of transportation, storage, and distribution of goods, maintain operational efficiency, and adhere to safety protocols. Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee port handling and logistics operations with a focus on bitumen handling. Supervise the loading, unloading, and transportation of goods to ensure timely deliveries. Coordinate with transporters, vendors, and internal teams to streamline operations. Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate documentation of shipments. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements. Troubleshoot logistics challenges and implement operational improvements. Lead and mentor logistics staff to achieve operational excellence. Key Skills: Strong knowledge of port operations, logistics management, and bitumen handling. Proficient in logistics software, with excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Expertise in safety compliance, time management, and team mentoring. Key Requirements: 5 to 8 years of experience in logistics and port operations. Prior experience in bitumen handling will be highly preferred. Strong understanding of port operations, logistics processes, and supply chain management. Proficiency in logistics software and reporting tools. Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred). Compensation: Competitive and commensurate with experience.
