Job Title: Senior Power BI Developer with SQL and SAP Integration Expertise

Location: Hyderabad-India

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Power BI Developer with a strong background in SQL, ETL processes, and DAX calculations. The ideal candidate will also have expertise in integrating SQL data sources with SAP (on-premise). This role requires a professional who can design, develop, and maintain analytical dashboards, manage large datasets, and deliver actionable insights to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy Power BI dashboards and reports, ensuring usability and performance.
Perform advanced DAX calculations for custom measures and data visualization needs.
Integrate and transform data from SAP (on-premise) into SQL Server for reporting and analytics.
Implement ETL processes to extract, clean, and prepare data for business intelligence projects.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand requirements, delivering effective data-driven solutions.
Optimize queries, improve data retrieval processes, and ensure data accuracy across systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues related to Power BI reports and SQL data sources.
Work closely with the SAP team to streamline data flow and ensure efficient integration.

Required Skills and Qualifications

7+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or related fields.
Proficiency in Power BI development, including DAX functions and advanced analytics.
Strong expertise in SQL programming and ETL processes .
Hands-on experience with SAP (on-premise) as a data source for reporting.
Solid understanding of data modelling concepts and database management.
Experience in performance tuning of reports and queries.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of SAP BW/4HANA or SAP BEx Queries is a plus.
Experience with other visualization tools like Tableau or QlikView is an advantage.
Familiarity with scripting languages like Python or R for data manipulation.
