Job Description
Position Summary
Virtualization Administrator (L1)
Virtualization Administrator (L1) is responsible for supporting a global Citrix/ XenApp & HyperV Infrastructure. Analyse and resolve technical issues with HyperV environment, Citrix clients, software applications and technical configurations related to end-users.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Education
Graduation or 3 years Polytechnic Diploma or equivalent. Certification in Citrix will be preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Maintaining and supporting medium to large scale Citrix & HyperV environments.
Knowledge & Skills
(Functional/Technical)
(Functional/Technical)
- Hands on experience on XenApp 6.x, XenServer, PVS, Secure/Access Gateway.
- Apart from Citrix XenApp, understanding of other core Citrix Components with related to Microsoft Technologies like Active Directory and Terminal Services, DNS, DHCP & HyperV/VMware is Mandatory.
- Reviews and follows-up with IT team members on a daily basis concerning open requests.
- Good knowledge in Edgesight Reporting.
- Good knowledge in Citrix Printing.
- Good Endpoint Troubleshooting Skills.
