Job Summary The E-Commerce Product Manager is responsible for leading the development, optimization, and overall management of an organization's online product offerings and platforms. This role involves strategizing and executing plans to enhance the user experience, increase conversion rates, and drive revenue growth through digital channels. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise, market insight, and customer-focused thinking to deliver impactful solutions in a fast-paced e-commerce environment. Your Role and Responsibilities Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and execute the e-commerce product strategy in alignment with business goals. Identify trends and customer insights to shape product roadmaps and feature prioritization. Product Development and Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, marketing, and sales, to ensure smooth product launches and updates. Define detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for new features and functionalities. Oversee testing and quality assurance to ensure optimal performance and usability. Performance Monitoring and Analysis: Analyze key performance metrics, such as conversion rates, user engagement, and revenue, to evaluate product success. Utilize data-driven insights to identify opportunities for improvement and implement iterative enhancements. Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the primary point of contact between technical teams and business stakeholders. Communicate product updates, challenges, and opportunities effectively to leadership and other teams. Customer Experience Enhancement: Continuously improve the online shopping experience by incorporating user feedback and emerging technologies. Ensure the platform is scalable, secure, and adaptable to evolving market demands. Required Technical and Professional Expertise Proven expertise in managing e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, or Salesforce Commerce Cloud. Strong knowledge of agile methodologies and product management tools like Jira or Trello. Familiarity with web analytics tools (e. g. , Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) and A/B testing frameworks. Proficiency in user experience (UX) design principles and front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript is a plus). Solid understanding of SEO, digital marketing strategies, and online payment systems. Qualification & Experience Required Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field. A Master s degree is a plus. 5+ years of experience in product management, with at least 3 years in the e-commerce domain. Demonstrated success in launching and scaling digital products with measurable business impact. Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.More Info
