• you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of virtualized environments using VMware technologies
• This role involves optimizing virtual infrastructure, ensuring high availability, and supporting the overall stability of the IT environment
• The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in VMware technologies, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a proactive approach to system administration

Key Responsibilities:

• VMware Infrastructure Management:Design, implement, and maintain VMware vSphere infrastructure
• Manage and optimize ESXi hosts, virtual machines, and resource pools
• Virtualization Deployment:Deploy and configure virtual machines based on business requirements
• Implement virtual networks, storage, and other components within VMware environments
• Performance Monitoring:Monitor the performance of virtualized environments and take proactive measures to optimize resource utilization
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance-related issues
• High Availability and Disaster Recovery:Implement and maintain high availability (HA) and fault tolerance (FT) configurations
• Develop and execute disaster recovery plans for virtualized environments
• Security and Compliance:Implement security measures to safeguard virtualized infrastructure
• Ensure compliance with security policies and industry standards
• Patch Management:Apply patches and updates to VMware infrastructure components
• Conduct testing and validation to ensure compatibility
• Backup and Recovery:Configure and manage backup solutions for virtual machines
• Perform regular backup tests and ensure data integrity
• Documentation:Maintain accurate documentation of VMware configurations, procedures, and best practices
• Create and update standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Collaboration:Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate virtualization solutions with broader IT infrastructure
• Provide support to application owners and end-users
• Capacity Planning:Conduct capacity planning to anticipate and meet future resource requirements
• Recommend and implement upgrades to support growing virtualization needs
