• Understand the business requirements and convert the same into functional specifications and gap analysis documents

• Independently discuss requirements with business, understand retail terms, and convert the requirements into detail business or functional requirements.
• Create/Review the business requirement document / functional requirement document, create process flows, and expand a given functional design into system requirements.
• Work on several functional requirements at the same time.
• Have a good understanding of various applications relevant to retail (POS, Inventory, CRP, Promotions, Merchandizing, Reporting, etc).
• Gather business requirements through demo sessions and doing the product presentations.
• Assist PM / Lead BA for sign offs on the requirement document. Ability to pin point the bottlenecks, resolve issues quickly and escalate when timelines are delayed.
• Build rapport with client teams and other functional consultants.
• Work with Technical / Implementation / Solutions team to convert the requirements into solution
• Prepare the presentations based on the product specifications to map the requirement and to identify the gaps
• Drive the configuration and security setup discussions/meetings for Retail Applications (exposure to any Store Applications for Configurations and security setup is fine). Create and Maintain documentation for the same.
• Functionally test the applications/products to check the proper implementation of the requirements
• Understand the functional landscape of different applications within the retail domain, and be able to understand / discuss functional flows between retail systems.
• Be aware of retail concepts and applications (Merchandizing / Omni Channel, etc).
• Work with the client during the testing phases
• Train and assist other individuals and team

• 5+ yrs of experience Senior BA, B.E / B. Tech / M. C. A./ M. S./ M. Tech (Preferred IT background)
• MBA from the reputed institution is BIG PLUS
• Excellent communications skills - Fluent English, Good listener, and good written skills. Should be able to articulate thoughts clearly. Must be presentable
• Good presentations skills. Should have experience presenting solutions / product demo s to a group of people
• Industry experience with any Retailer or having some retail background is MUST
• Should be able to understand retail concepts, understand retail IT landscape and store solutions. Have high level understanding of merchandizing, financials and other retail areas
• Experience in ERP implementation is MUST
• Experience with Micros Xstore is a BIG PLUS. Experience of working in POS solution is a PLUS
• Working knowledge of any inventory application as a BA is MUST
• Experience working with any CRM / Promotions engine preferred is MUST
• Detail understanding of SDLC processes
• PL/SQL working knowledge Ability to run basic queries over any any / any DB tool is required
• Understanding of Cloud technologies is a PLUS. AWS/Azure/GCM Certifications is a PLUS
• Prior experience in a service organization is MUST
• Should be open to travel
• Should be open to learning, and open to working with some unknowns. Self starter and motivated. Have a drive to learn and excel
• Should have experience with at least 1 end to end implementation cycle
• Should have worked on complex mods, and have defined the functional requirements, created documents for the same
• Should have exposure to handling clients during UAT for entire process from reporting defects to getting fixes retestedShould be able to conduct training independently.
