Tender Executive Government, Steel Plant & Private E-Procurement

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Tender Executive who can independently handle Government, PSU, Steel Plant, EPC and Private Company e-Procurement portals from tender identification to final bid submission and follow-up.

The ideal candidate should have practical experience in GeM, CPPP, State E-Tender portals, Steel Plant portals, Limited Tenders and private procurement platforms such as SAP Ariba.

Key Responsibilities

- Search, evaluate and track relevant tenders/RFQs for Industrial Valves, Automation and Engineering Products.

- Handle GeM Bid search, participation, quotation submission, order processing and post-bid activities.

- Handle CPPP, State Government e-Procurement portals and PSU tender portals.

- Handle Steel Plant procurement portals, including portals/RFQ systems of major steel companies and their procurement departments.

- Handle Limited Tender / Proprietary / Enquiry-based tenders, including vendor registration, enlistment and documentation.

- Manage vendor registration and empanelment with Government, PSU, Steel Plants, EPC companies and private organizations.

- Handle private procurement portals such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle Procurement and similar platforms.

- Study tender documents, eligibility criteria, technical specifications, commercial terms and submission requirements.

- Coordinate with Sales, Design, Production, Quality, Purchase and Accounts teams for timely bid preparation.

- Prepare and submit Technical & Commercial Bids, Quotations, Compliance Statements and other tender documents.

- Maintain required documents such as GST, PAN, MSME, ISO, OEM/Manufacturer documents, experience certificates, authorization letters, EMD/BG and other statutory documents.

- Monitor corrigendum, tender amendments, deadlines, bid opening and tender results.

- Maintain a proper Tender Tracker / MIS for submitted, ongoing, pending and upcoming tenders.

- Coordinate for EMD, Performance Security, BG, PO/Contract documentation and post-order requirements.

- Follow up with customers/PSUs/Steel Plants/EPC companies regarding technical queries, clarifications, order status and commercial matters.

- Maintain a database of registered vendors, portals, customer credentials, tender history and important documents.

Required Skills

- Strong practical knowledge of GeM and e-Tender portals.

- Experience with Steel Plant / PSU procurement portals will be highly preferred.

- Experience in Limited Tender and vendor registration/empanelment.

- Working knowledge of SAP Ariba / Coupa / Oracle or similar private procurement portals.

- Good understanding of technical & commercial tender documentation.

- Excellent MS Excel, MS Word and documentation skills.

- Good communication, coordination and follow-up skills.

- Ability to work independently and meet strict tender deadlines.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify tender eligibility, technical deviations and commercial risks.

Preferred Industry Experience

Candidates from the following industries will be preferred:

Qualification

Graduate / Diploma / B.Tech / B.E.

Any relevant technical or commercial qualification.
