Job Summary:
R&D Testing & Validation Engineer tests and validates medical and robotic products to ensure they are safe, reliable, and ready for real-world use, working closely with multiple engineering teams in a hands-on development environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mechanical Quality Control: Conduct QC checks on prototypes and pre-production units, validate mechanical designs, and provide clear feedback to ensure smooth transition to production.
• Software & Hardware Testing: Perform module-level software testing and integration testing across firmware, electronics, sensors, and motors; document issues and verify fixes.
• Product Validation : Test the product end-to-end, gather usability and safety feedback from clinicians, and patients, and convert insights into actionable inputs for R&D team.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration & Ownership: Collaborate with regulatory, mechanical, electronics, software, and clinical teams, to identify gaps, drive solutions, and maintain systematic testing and documentation processes.

Skills & Requirements:

• Ability to understand product features and translate them into practical testing systems.
• Strong attention to detail with organized testing and documentation practices.
• Good analytical and operational skills to quickly identify issues and root causes.
• Effective communication and coordination with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage and track multiple tasks, issues, and project activities simultaneously.
• Comfortable working with physical products such as robotics, sensors, mechanisms, and electromechanical systems.
• Preferred prior experience with testing products as per IEC and ISO13485 QMS standards

Preferred Background:

• Experience in R&D testing, QA, QC, validation, or similar hands-on engineering roles.
• Exposure to medical devices, robotics, mechatronics, or hardware product development environments.
• Understanding of product development cycles involving electronics, firmware, mechanical systems, and integration workflows.
