Job Title:UI/ UX Designer

Work Location:MKCL Office at Pune or Navi Mumbai

Responsibilities

• Create wireframes, mock-ups, prototypes, and user journeys for web applications.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather user feedback to improve product experiences.
• Design, develop, and maintain intuitive, user-friendly, and visually appealing interfaces.
• Collaborate with UX/UI teams to transform design concepts into interactive web experiences.
• Ensure responsive design and seamless user experiences across devices and browsers.
• Optimize front-end performance for speed, scalability, and accessibility.
• Work closely with back-end developers to integrate front-end and back-end functionalities.
• Contribute to maintaining design consistency and UI standards across products.

Required Skills & Technologies

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic UI/UX professional with a strong eye for design and a passion for creating intuitive digital experiences.

Technical Skills:

• HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Vue.js 3
• Figma
• Responsive Web Design

Frameworks & Tools:

• Bootstrap
• Tailwind CSS
• Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks and UI libraries

Desired Competencies:

• Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles
• Experience in wireframing, prototyping, and user-centered design
• Ability to create responsive and visually engaging interfaces
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality user experiences
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred:

• Experience with design tools such as Adobe Photoshop or similar applications

Preferred Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, or similar software.
• Experience in creating visual assets, UI components, and design mock-ups.
• Familiarity with modern design systems, accessibility standards, and emerging UI/UX trends.

Possession of these skills will be considered an added advantage.

Qualification/s

Candidates with any of the following degrees will be preferred:

• Bachelor of Design (B.Des)
• B.Sc. in UX Design
• Bachelors in visual communication
• Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA)

Preferred Certifications (any one of the following):

• Google UX Design Certificate
• Figma Certification
• DesignBoat Portfolio Program
• GrowthSchool Portfolio Program

Additional Preference:
Candidates who possess both a relevant degree and at least one of the above-mentioned certifications, along with a strong design portfolio demonstrating UX/UI, visual design, or digital product design skills, will be given preference during the selection process.

Selection Process

Stage I: Technical Hands-on Assessment

Candidates will be required to complete a Technical Hands-on Assessment to evaluate their technical skills and practical proficiency.

Assessment Details:

• Mode: Physical
• Venue: MKCLs Office at ICC Trade Tower, B Wing, 5th Floor, Shivajinagar, Pune 411016 Or

MKCLs Devops Office at Plot No. 30, Sector 42-A, Nerul, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra 400706

• Duration: 4 Hours
• Total Marks: 60

Qualifying Criteria

• Candidates must secure a minimum of 70% marks in the Technical Hands-on Assessment.
• Only candidates meeting the minimum qualifying criteria in all assignments will be considered for the next stage of the selection process.

Stage II Personal Interview:

Candidates who qualify in the technical Hands-on Assessment will be invited to appear for a Personal Interview before a Selection Panel. During the interview, each panel member will independently assess the candidates performance and award marks accordingly. The final interview score will be calculated as the average of the marks awarded by all panel members. To be eligible for selection, candidates must secure a minimum average score of 50% in the interview. The final decision regarding selection shall rest solely with the Selection Panel.

Relevant Experience:Minimum 2-3 years of post-qualification relevant experience.

Compensation Package - Cost To Company (CTC)

Range: Approx 6.50 Lakhs to 9.50 Lakhs per annum.

(Exact CTC for the selected candidate shall be computed based on his/her post qualification relevant experience).
