Job Description

Position: Safety Manager (EHS)

Industry: Construction / Engineering.

Exp-12-15 years for Mirzapur Location of proven EHS experience in Industrial & Petrochemical Projects Thermal Power Plant, or Chimney Projects.

Qualification

Education:-Diploma/Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering

Advance Diploma In Industrial Safety is Mandatory AICTE-approved

(Note-5 to 6 Years Experience Can Also Apply For Mumbai Location)

Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee all Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) activities across Industrial, Petrochemical, Thermal Power Plant, and Chimney construction projects.
Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, client requirements, and company EHS standards.
Implement and monitor Safety Management Systems, HIRA/JSA, Permit-to-Work (PTW), and emergency preparedness plans.
Conduct site safety audits, inspections, incident investigations, and ensure timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
Drive safety awareness through inductions, toolbox talks, and training programs for employees and contractors.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities on all EHS-related matters.
Maintain EHS documentation, compliance records, and periodic management reports while promoting a proactive safety culture across project sites.

Preferred Candidate Profile

NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, OSHA, ADIS/PDIS, or equivalent safety certification is preferred.
Strong understanding of statutory safety regulations, construction safety practices, and EHS management systems.
Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
