Job Description

Role & responsibilities:

Testing Engineer

Perform mechanical testing of metals, alloys, and products as per relevant standards and test procedures.
Operate and maintain testing equipment such as UTM, hardness testers, impact testers, and other laboratory instruments.
Analyze test results, prepare test reports, and maintain accurate records.
Ensure compliance with quality systems, laboratory procedures, and safety requirements.
Coordinate with customers and internal departments regarding testing requirements and report status.
Assist in method development, equipment calibration, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Undertake any other responsibilities assigned by the Management from time to time

Lab Technician

Receive, identify, and prepare samples for mechanical testing.
Perform specimen cutting, machining, grinding, polishing, and other sample preparation activities.
Assist in conducting tensile, compression, bend, impact, hardness, and other mechanical tests.
Maintain test records, sample traceability, and laboratory documentation.
Ensure cleanliness, upkeep, and proper functioning of laboratory equipment and work areas.
Assist in equipment maintenance, calibration, and inventory management.
Follow laboratory quality procedures, safety guidelines, and housekeeping standards.
Carry out any other duties assigned by the Reporting Manager or Management from time to time.

Preferred candidate profile:

Testing Engineer Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Science Graduate. Lab Technician – ITI / HSC / SSC with relevant experience or willingness to learn and perform laboratory duties.
