Job Description

oversees the end-to-end bid process, creating technical and commercial proposals to secure contracts while maximizing profitability. Preparation, costing, and submission of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) proposals for large Metro, Tunnel, Bridge projects etc.

Role & responsibilities :

Bid Management: Lead the entire tender lifecycle, from initial expression of interest to final submission.
Analysis & Estimation: Analyze tender documents, tender specifications, and contract conditions, along with cost estimation and Bill of Quantities (BOQ) preparation.
Coordination: Collaborate with sales, engineering, finance, and legal departments to gather technical and commercial data.
Compliance & Risk: Ensure all bids are compliant with client requirements and company standards, identifying potential risks.
Digital Portals: Manage e-tendering platforms and government e-marketplace (GeM) submissions.
Negotiation: Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with vendors and clients.
Reporting: Track KPIs and report on tender status (won/lost)

Required Key Skills: Strong understanding of contract law, technical specifications, and commercial terms. Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills to ensure successful bid submissions and contract awards. 10 to 20 years of experience in cost estimation and tendering for large scale metro projects, Tunnel, Bridge, Water project, heavy Civil infrastructure and Highway projects.

Education Qualifications: BE/B.Tech-Mechanical/Electrical /Electronics Engineering
