Job Description

Job Summary

The Operations Manager will oversees daily operations, production efficiency, safety compliance, and maintenance of a soybean processing facility. They are responsible for meeting production targets, ensuring quality standards (oil/meal), managing personnel, controlling budgets, and optimizing extraction efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Leadership: Direct all soybean processing activities, including cleaning, crushing, solvent extraction, and refining to produce oil and meal.
Production Targets: Plan and execute production schedules to meet volume, quality, and delivery targets.
Safety & Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety, health, environmental, and food safety regulations (e.g., FSSAI, OSHA).
Maintenance: Coordinate preventative and predictive maintenance for machinery, boilers, and utility systems to minimize downtime.
Quality Control: Monitor product quality to meet customer specifications and industry standards.
Manpower Management: Supervise, train, and schedule plant personnel for optimal performance.
Cost Control: Monitor operational costs, manage inventory, and optimize process efficiency to reduce costs.
