Job Summary

The Technical Sales & Service Engineer is responsible for promoting, installing, servicing, and supporting medical equipment while building strong customer relationships with hospitals, healthcare institutions, and medical professionals. The role requires a combination of technical expertise and sales acumen to drive business growth while ensuring excellent after-sales support and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and sell medical equipment and healthcare solutions to hospitals, healthcare institutions, and doctors.
• Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with key customers in the assigned territory.
• Conduct product demonstrations, clinical presentations, and technical discussions with customers.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to business growth.
• Install, commission, and configure medical equipment at customer sites.
• Perform preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of medical equipment.
• Provide product training and operational guidance to doctors, biomedical engineers, OT staff, and hospital personnel.
• Prepare quotations, technical proposals, installation reports, service reports, and customer visit reports.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service activities, equipment history, and sales opportunities in the company CRM system.
• Coordinate with the Accounts, Logistics, and Service Coordination teams for order execution, dispatch, installation, and payment follow-ups.
• Ensure timely response to customer service requests and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer requirements, and provide regular feedback to management.
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs, quality standards, and safety guidelines.
• Travel extensively within the assigned territory to support sales and service activities.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Bachelor Degree in Biomedical Engineering.
• 1-3 years of experience in Medical Equipment Sales, Technical Service, Biomedical Engineering, or Healthcare Technology.
• Freshers with relevant educational qualifications and strong technical aptitude are encouraged to apply.

Required Skills

• Strong technical knowledge of medical devices and healthcare equipment.
• Good understanding of installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment servicing.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and customer relationship management skills.
• Strong sales and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to prepare technical reports and service documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
