Technical Architect

Job brief:

The Technical Architect will have the responsibility of helping product and engineering teams solve challenging technical problems and designing the foundation for current and future products and their technical infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

? Set technical direction for the product offerings
? Be part of the team implementing the platform using an iterative approach
? Provide mentoring and technical leadership for our growing team of talented engineers
? Work with product managers, analysts, and other stakeholders to participate in the (Agile) requirement process and produce technical designs and development plans
? Communicate complex technical topics to non-technical resources and leadership.
? Provide technical input on alternative approaches to issues that arise.
? Communicate and enforce coding standards. Perform code reviews and support an Agile, Test Driven development methodology.

Requirement

? 5+ years of experience in a technology architecture focused role
? Previous experience with high performing data platforms with Multitenant and Multilingual Cloud Mobile based Software solutions
? Experience and Past coding experience in Java, Android, PHP, MYSQL
? Expert level knowledge in modern server and browser side architectures
? Experience managing the technology aspect of multiple complex projects
? Background in using open source technology and databases
? Experience with Agile development methodology
? Knowledge of AWS environment and product suite
? Prior experience working in the Retail / Manufacturing / Distribution / Finance or data-driven B-to-B applications is a plus
? Master?s degree in computer science or related discipline
