Job Description

Skillventory is hiring Team Member - Internal Audit for a leading NBFC in Mumbai location.

Roles and Responsibilities
The Internal Auditor's role is to conduct an independent and objective assessment of the processes and provide an unbiased opinion of the company's product credit and operations. Audit needs to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of the control, risk management, and compliance processes. Scope of work will be covered as follows:

-> Develop a risk based annual audit plan and budget in line with strategic objectives of the company for Audit Committee consideration and approval.
-> Execute the audit plan according to the board-approved calendar, within the approved manpower capacity and budget.
-> Quarterly updates to the audit committee along with periodic reports and dashboards for senior management.
-> Timely closure of audit findings, in line with the risk assessment.
-> Zero high-risk control related observations on operating processes in External audit and regulatory findings.
-> Timely completion of the thematic audits project as recommended by Management.
-> Enhanced audit coverage through automation and analytics.
-> Ensure compliance with QAIP reporting requirements.
-> Undertake Company/ departmental projects and ensure completion meets desired quality and timelines.
-> Implementing the usage of AI and creating AI bots for repeat audit tasks.
