Team Member Design Civil | Water Treatment Plant

Project | Panjrapur, Mumbai

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Civil Design professional for Water Treatment Plant (WTP) projects at Panjrapur, Mumbai. The candidate will be responsible for civil design, hydraulic calculations, preparation of engineering drawings, BOQ preparation, technical coordination, and support for execution activities related to water supply and treatment infrastructure projects.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Preparation and review of civil design drawings for Water Treatment Plants (WTP), Pumping Stations, Reservoirs, and associated infrastructure.
• Perform hydraulic calculations for water transmission systems, gravity mains, rising mains, and distribution networks.
• Preparation of layout plans, alignment drawings, longitudinal sections, and GFC drawings.
• Coordination with Mechanical, Electrical, Process, and Execution teams for multidisciplinary design activities.
• Preparation and review of BOQ, technical specifications, estimation sheets, and tender documents.
• Support procurement team in technical evaluation of vendor offers and material specifications.
• Ensure compliance with IS Codes, CPHEEO guidelines, project specifications, and client requirements.
• Review consultant/vendor drawings and provide technical clarifications.
• Provide engineering support during execution and resolve site-related design issues.
• Participate in design review meetings and monitor engineering deliverables.
• Coordination with clients, consultants, vendors, and project stakeholders for approvals and technical submissions.
• Conduct site visits as and when required for design validation and execution support.
  

Education :

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering

Experience:

• 5 - 12 years of experience in Water Supply, WTP, STP, Irrigation, or Wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Experience in EPC/Infrastructure projects will be preferred.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of Water Treatment and Water Supply systems.
• Experience in hydraulic calculations and pipeline design.
• Knowledge of IS Codes and CPHEEO guidelines.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience in WaterGEMS, WaterCAD, EPANET, or similar hydraulic modelling software.
• Experience in BOQ preparation, estimation, and technical documentation.
