Position Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Team Leader with a proven track record in MERN/PERN stack development. The ideal candidate will lead and mentor a team of developers, ensure high-quality code delivery, and actively participate in the full software development life cycle. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop innovative applications while optimizing processes for continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of developers working on MERN/PERN stack applications.
Oversee the planning, design, and implementation of software solutions that meet business requirements.
Ensure high code quality through code reviews, mentoring, and adherence to best practices.
Collaborate with product owners, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver scalable and efficient applications.
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and server-side components.
Hands-on involvement in writing reusable, testable, and efficient code.
Drive continuous improvement in team performance through process optimization, knowledge sharing, and automation.
Assist in project planning and estimation, delivering features on time and within scope.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges across the stack, identifying areas for optimization.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, promoting innovative solutions within the team.

Skills and Qualifications:

6+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on MERN or PERN stack.
Proven experience leading a team of developers and delivering complex projects.
Proficiency in front-end technologies such as React.js and familiarity with modern front-end development tools and workflows.
Strong experience in backend development using Node.js, Express.js, and working with databases like MongoDB or PostgreSQL.
Expertise in building RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
Knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and modern development practices.
Experience with version control systems like Git.
Familiarity with AWS cloud platform.
Excellent problem-solving skills, debugging, and performance tuning.
Strong communication and leadership abilities.
Experience with Agile methodologies.
