Role & responsibilities

Customer Service:

• Greet and welcome guests promptly and courteously.
• Provide menus and assist guests with menu selections.
• Answer questions about menu items,ingredients, and pricing.
• Offer recommendations based on guests preferences and dietary restrictions.
• Handle special requests and complaints with professionalism and a positive attitude.

Order Management:

• Accurately take food and beverage orders from guests.
• Input orders into the point of sale (POS) system promptly.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely delivery of orders.

Service Delivery

• Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner.
• Monitor tables to anticipate guest needs and respond promptly.
• Clear tables and ensure the dining area is clean and well-maintained.
• Refill beverages and offer additional items as needed.

Sales and Upselling:

• Inform guests of daily specials, promotions, and new menu items.
• Upsell additional menu items and beverages to enhance the guest experience.
• Process guest payments accurately and efficiently.

Team Collaboration:

• Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
• Assist colleagues during busy periods and provide support as needed.

Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.

Health and Safety:

• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Maintain personal hygiene and a clean,professional appearance.

Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to the manager.

Preferred candidate profile

Education

• Minimum Qualification 12th Pass
• HM Diploma /Degree is ++
• Previous experience as a waiter/waitress or in a customer service role is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Basic math skills for handling payments and making change.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices is an advantage.

Experience:

• Freshers can Apply or At least 6 months to 1 year experience in relevant Industry
