Job Description

Forecast colours and design trends for future seasons and put together collection mood boards. To conceptualise and create Soft Home Furnishing products like, Decorative Cushions, Table Linen, Curtains, Throws, etc. using Surface Ornamentation, Fabric Manipulation, Embroidery (Manual and Computer), Printing and other techniques. Delegate and supervise junior team members for making samples and CADS. Candidate Requirement Textile Design Graduates from National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) or National Institute of Design (NID). Should be able to understand buyer s requirements, prepare samples / product development and ensure that it is done timely. Should be a good organizer, proactive willing team player having an eye for detail and an even temperament. Good command in written and spoken English. Work proficiently on computers to design and have knowledge of Office applications like Excel, Word, Outlook etc.
