Job Description

Looking for textile and fashion designers for Women's ethnic wear specializing and working with embroideries and prints:- The role includes:- - Developing new designs for for sarees, dupattas and salwar materials using hand and machine embroideries and other surface ornamentation techniques. - Responsible for creating and forecasting new looks and styles for the upcoming season. - Co-ordinating and planning designs while closely working with artisans and karigars. - Handling production of designs after finalization. Requirements:- - Well versed with the various embroidery techniques along with prints. One must be able to combine different techniques to create new designs. - Ability to Create/visualize an idea and producing a design by hand sketch or using computer based softwares. - An in-depth knowledge of colour matchings, contrasts and indian ethnic wear trends is a must. - Minimum 3 years prior experience working with Indian crafts and embroideries for sarees and Indian ethnic wear fabrics is a Must.
