Sr. QA Automation Engineer in Java

Job Description

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and define test strategies.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Java.
Perform thorough testing of software applications to identify defects, ensure functionality, and validate performance.
Participate in test planning, test case design, and test execution activities.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
Collaborate with QA leads and project managers to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
Monitoring the CI/CD pipelines for test execution.
Experience with Docker and some of the DevOps practices
Stay up-to-date with the latest automation testing trends and technologies.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 4-6 years of hands-on experience in QA automation using Selenium WebDriver and Java.
Strong proficiency in Java programming and object-oriented concepts.
Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, test case design, and test execution.
Experience with version control systems (Git, SVN) and continuous integration tools.
Familiarity with testing frameworks such as TestNG or JUnit.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
ISTQB or relevant certifications are a plus.
