Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a multidisciplinary engineer to contribute to the design, analysis, and integration of advanced defence systems, including anti-drone (Counter - UAS) technologies. The role combines mechanical design, structural and thermal analysis, and RF system integration for high-performance, mission-critical platforms operating in harsh environments.

• Design rugged enclosures, antenna mounts, radomes, and system housings
• Develop 3D CAD models and manufacturing drawings
• Optimize designs for weight, durability, and environmental resistance
• SolidWorks Ansys Workbench

Structural Analysis Perform FEA for

• Static loads, vibration, and shock
• Fatigue and failure prediction
• Ensure survivability under military conditions (transport, firing shock, field deployment)
• Validate designs against MIL standards

Thermal Analysis

• Analyze heat dissipation in RF - heavy systems (high power electronics)
• Perform steady-state and transient thermal simulations
• Design cooling strategies
• Heat sinks, forced air, liquid cooling
• Ensure system performance in extreme climates

RF Systems (Anti-Drone / Counter-UAS)

• Drone detection (radar, RF sensing)
• Drone jamming and spoofing
• Work on RF front-end components
• Power amplifiers, antennas, filters
• Perform link budget and RF propagation analysis

System Integration

• Integrate mechanical structures with RF and electronic subsystems
• Ensure EMI/EMC compliance and shielding effectiveness
• Collaborate with embedded, control, and signal processing teams

Testing Validation

• Conduct environmental testing
• Vibration, shock, thermal cycling

• Bachelor s / Master s in Mechanical Engineering / Aerospace Engineering
• Experience with anti - drone / Counter-UAS systems
• Knowledge of Radar systems, Electronic warfare (EW)
• Familiarity with MIL - STD - 810 (environmental), EMI / EMC standards
• Independent design analysis
