Sr Manager Planning & Analytics

Job Description

Role Objective
To lead and coordinate procurement planning, analytics, and operational excellence across the Procurement & Contracting (P&C) department. The role involves close collaboration with projects, business, and other internal stakeholders to ensure effective planning, timely execution of procurement activities, and continuous improvement through data-driven insights, automation, and risk management.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement Planning & Coordination

• Drive planning and coordination of procurement activities by engaging with project, business, and other internal stakeholders.
• Maintain visibility of planned, ongoing, and emergency requirements to ensure timely and efficient sourcing.
• Support business continuity through proactive identification and fulfillment of critical procurement needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement plans with business objectives and budgetary targets.

Data Analytics & Reporting

• Perform data analysis, spend analytics, and MIS/report generation for management review and decision-making.

Stakeholder Management

• Act as a key liaison between Procurement, Finance, Audit, Risk, and Platform IT teams for issue resolution and data integrity.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between business users and procurement teams.

Process Excellence & Governance

• Support audit and risk management initiatives by ensuring compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Participate in process standardization, documentation, and continuous improvement activities.
• Provide insights for optimizing procurement efficiency, cost, and supplier performance.

Domain Knowledge

• Possess working knowledge of Procurement & Contracting verticals.
• Understand end-to-end business models covering Inventory, Payments, and Logistics reporting and analytics.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, SAP, and other procurement analytics tools.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight timelines.
• Sound understanding of procurement processes, spend management, and contract governance.
