Sr Executive/Assistant Manager, Customer Service and Operations Pune

Job Description

Overview: We are looking for a dynamic and customer-orientated individual to join our team as a Customer Service and Operations. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our clients, ensuring smooth operations, timely deliveries, and exceptional customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate with clients to understand their shipping and logistics requirements. Manage end-to-end shipment processes, including booking, documentation, and tracking. Collaborate with carriers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods. Handle customer queries, provide updates on shipment status, and resolve issues promptly. Prepare and verify shipping documents, including bills of lading, invoices, and packing lists. Monitor shipments to ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company standards. Maintain accurate records of shipments, expenses, and customer communications. Support the sales team with quotations and operational feedback. Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement efficient workflows. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelors degree in logistics, or a related field. 5 - 8 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a similar industry. Strong understanding of freight forwarding operations CHA (import/export, air/sea freight). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and logistics software (e.g., Logisys). Knowledge of customs regulations and documentation is a plus.
