Job Description

Contrans Container is seeking an efficient and proactive Sr. Executive for Sea Import Documentation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling the end-to-end documentation lifecycle for sea import shipments. Strong operational knowledge of IGM (Import General Manifest) filling, cargo tracking, and close coordination with shipping lines is absolutely essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Documentation Management: Own and execute the sea import documentation process from start to finish, ensuring high accuracy and zero compliance errors.
IGM Handling: Manage the timely and accurate submission of SI & IGM Filling with customs and authorities.
Shipping Line Liaison: Coordinate extensively with shipping lines and console agents to track vessel schedules, process Bills of Lading (BL), and secure timely Delivery Orders (DO).
Tracking & Operations: Perform regular Container Tracking to monitor shipments and keep internal and external teams updated on arrival schedules.
Internal Coordination: Facilitate accurate Job Creation inside the internal operational software/ERP systems and collaborate closely with customer service and clearance teams.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Education: Any Graduate (UG degree mandatory).
Domain Expertise: 3+ years of solid experience in Sea Import Documentation within a freight forwarding or shipping setup.
Core Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with IGM Filling, Delivery Order issuance, and Container Tracking.
Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, clear verbal/written communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
