Job Description

At CACTUS AI Solutions, we are building and deploying large-scale AI systems that power products and enterprise solutions across research, publishing, healthcare, BFSI, government, education, and enterprise transformation. Our ecosystem powers platforms such as Paperpal, R Discovery, and Mind the Graph, and multiple enterprise AI solutions used by millions of users globally.

We are looking for a highly experienced and hands-on Senior Solution Architect who can lead the design, architecture, and technical strategy for enterprise-scale AI initiatives. This role will play a critical part in shaping how AI solutions are designed, deployed, governed, and scaled across diverse enterprise and government-facing use cases. The ideal candidate is someone who combines strong architecture fundamentals with deep AI/ML understanding, enterprise integration experience, cloud expertise, and practical knowledge of modern AI ecosystems including LLMs, RAG systems, vector databases, orchestration frameworks, and AI governance practices.

Note - For this role, we are looking for Delhi NCR based candidates only.

Responsibilities

Design and drive scalable, secure, and enterprise-grade architectures for AI/ML platforms, cloud-native applications, and distributed systems.
Evaluate and recommend appropriate AI/ML models, LLMs, frameworks, and solution approaches, including Generative AI, RAG, semantic search, conversational AI, and intelligent automation.
Define architecture standards, deployment strategies, integration patterns, and reusable solution frameworks across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments.
Architect integrations with enterprise platforms using APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures while ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability.
Collaborate with engineering, AI/ML, DevOps, and MLOps teams to guide implementation, deployment, monitoring, and operational excellence.
Drive architecture governance by embedding security, privacy, compliance, auditability, access controls, and Responsible AI practices into solution designs.
Partner with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions and support technical proposals, architecture reviews, effort estimation, and solution documentation.
Assess and leverage internal assets, open-source technologies, and third-party platforms to accelerate solution delivery and innovation.

Qualifications and Prerequisites

5 8 years of experience in Solution Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, AI/ML Engineering, or large-scale platform engineering, with proven expertise in designing enterprise-grade AI-powered and cloud-native solutions.
Strong understanding of modern AI ecosystems, including LLMs, RAG architectures, semantic retrieval, vector databases, orchestration frameworks, and AI deployment patterns.
Experience architecting distributed systems, enterprise integrations, APIs, microservices, and cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and enterprise stakeholders to deliver complex, high-scale technology solutions.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical leadership skills, with the ability to operate effectively in fast-paced and ambiguous environments.
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology, or a related field.
Cloud architecture certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, GCP Professional Cloud Architect, or equivalent) are preferred.
Experience contributing to enterprise AI platforms, open-source initiatives, large-scale AI deployments, or government/enterprise transformation programs is a plus.
