Role & responsibilities

Execute commissioning activities for ELV systems: e.g., verifying installation against drawings/specifications, pre-functional & functional testing of devices, cables, systems.
Inspect and verify wiring, terminations, device installations, network/integration readiness, ensuring compliance with project specification.
Prepare and update commissioning test plans, check sheets, punch lists; perform handover to client or operations team.
Troubleshoot during commissioning & service: identify faults, coordinate remedial activities, liaise with vendors/sub-contractors.
Maintain accurate documentation: as-installed drawings, commissioning reports, test result logs, fault reports.
Provide training and handover to client operations/maintenance teams (on system use, preventive maintenance).
Coordinate closely with project execution team, consultants, contractors, suppliers to ensure timely commissioning and handover.
Adhere to quality, health & safety, regulatory and company procedures throughout commissioning and site service operations.

Preferred candidate profile

Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications or a related engineering field.
Ideally 3-5 years of experience in ELV systems (commissioning, testing, service) this range is typical for such roles.
Hands-on familiarity with ELV systems such as CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm system, etc.
Good understanding of commissioning principles: test packs, functional & pre-functional tests, cause & effect verification, handover documentation.

Willingness to work onsite, travel between sites, coordinate with contractors/consultants, often under schedule pressure
