Job Description

Hands-on experience in the Operation and Maintenance of Wartsila HFO DG sets 9R32LN, and W6L26 engines is an added advantage.

Coordinate operation activities during the shift to ensure the plant is operated according to the customer needs.

Plan and coordinate the operation & Maintenance activities at the plant and /or assigned team during the shift.

Required good communication skills

In-depth knowledge in Synchronizing DG sets with Grid.

Experience in Operation, Maintenance & Troubleshooting of LT & HT Switchgear, Generators, Transformers, Circuit breakers, Motors, Protection Relays, and AVRs.

Knowledge of WOIS & WECS systems.

Experience in Detailed Planning of long-term Annual Operation and Maintenance Plans and Spare Parts.

Problem-solving and Analytical skills.

Knowledge & Implementation of HIRAC and adherence to LOTO systems.

Follow a safety-first mindset.

Open mind to analyze critical technical issues and take steps to resolve the same.

Maintain all operation & maintenance records according to the Plant management procedures & Guidelines.

Assist the superior as required.

To be able to carry on troubleshooting of electrical equipment installed in the power plant independently and also along with field service engineers as well as customers.

Common problems & troubleshooting in the electrical control system.

Modification/Upgradation in electrical system for performance improvement

Maintaining required inventory for the smooth operation of DGs & Switchyard Equipments.

Knowledge about Emergency Preparedness and Response to emergencies.

Education & Experience requirements:

Diploma or BE Electrical and having a valid C license

Minimum 6 years of HFO/Gas/DG-based power plant experience is a must.

Experience in operating engines and its auxiliaries
