Job Summary:

The Shift Manager is responsible for supervising daily store operations during assigned shifts. This role ensures smooth store functioning, maintains service and product quality standards, manages the barista team, and delivers an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Shift Operations Management

• Manage and oversee store operations during assigned shifts.
• Ensure smooth service flow and adherence to operational standards.
• Handle opening and closing procedures of the store.

2. Team Supervision

• Supervise baristas and support staff during the shift.
• Allocate tasks and ensure productivity of the team.
• Provide on-floor guidance and training to team members.

3. Customer Experience

• Ensure high standards of customer service.
• Handle customer complaints or escalations professionally.
• Maintain a welcoming and positive store environment.

4. Quality & Hygiene Compliance

• Ensure beverages and food items meet company quality standards.

• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety practices in the store.
• Ensure equipment is used and maintained properly.

5. Inventory & Cash Management

• Monitor inventory levels and report shortages to the Store Manager.
• Handle billing, cash handling, and daily cash reconciliation if required.
• Minimize wastage and ensure proper stock usage.

6. Reporting & Coordination

• Share shift updates with the Store Manager.
• Report operational issues, customer feedback, or maintenance concerns.
• Support store targets and sales initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• HSC mandatory.
• 1-3 years of experience in hospitality, caf, or QSR industry.
• Prior experience in team supervision
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to handle fast-paced store operations.
• Exp. 1 year as Barista
