Job Description

Role & responsibilities

• Installation & Commissioning: Execute the erection, installation, and commissioning of water treatment systems, STP (Sewage Treatment Plants), ETP (Effluent Treatment Plants), UF, and WTP.

• Maintenance Operations: Perform routine preventive maintenance and rapid breakdown maintenance at client sites to minimise equipment downtime.

• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues, including problems with pumps, valves, pipelines, and automation/control panels.

• Water Quality Testing: Analyse water chemistry parameters (pH, TDS, COD, BOD, etc.) and fine-tune plant operations based on test results.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of service activities, maintenance schedules, equipment performance, and spare parts inventory.

• Client Support: Address customer complaints, resolve technical queries, and provide handover training and system audits to clients.

• Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to industry safety protocols and quality control standards. [1, 2, 3, 4]

Preferred candidate profile

• Education: Bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Tech), Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

• Experience: Minimum 1 to 3+ years of hands-on experience in water and wastewater treatment services (WTP, ETP, STP).

• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of water chemistry, filtration technologies, and basic electrical/PLC troubleshooting.

• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication for client handling, and the ability to work independently in the field.

• Mobility: Must be willing to travel to various client sites for field service and emergency assignments. A valid driver's license is typically required.
