Job Description

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Technical Service Engineer with 2 to 4 years of experience to join our service team in Mumbai. In this role, you will be a critical technical point of contact for our customers across India. You will be responsible for executing end-to-end field service operations, resolving complex technical issues, performing torubleshooting & maintenance on specialized SF6 equipment, and ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Location: Mumbai (On-site / Field-based)

Employment Type: Full-time

Travel Requirement: Intensive Pan-India for site visits and service execution.

Key Responsibilities

1. Field Service & Technical Support

Lead on-site testing, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of specialized SF6 gas handling units and analyzers

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex electro-mechanical and pneumatic issues independently at client sites (utilities, sub-stations, and industrial plants).

Provide high-tier technical support and remote guidance to clients to minimize system downtime.

2. Maintenance, Calibration & Safety

Execute preventive and corrective maintenance schedules in strict accordance with DILO quality standards and safety protocols.

Perform precise calibration, gas analysis parameters check, and verification of sensors and monitoring instruments.

Ensure rigorous adherence to SF6 gas safety, handling, and environmental regulations during all service procedures.

3. Customer Relations & Operations

Serve as a trusted technical representative of Super Phoenix, effectively communicating service findings, root-cause analyses, and technical recommendations to clients.

Generate comprehensive service reports, calibration certificates, and technical documentation post-visit.

Identify opportunities for Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs), retrofits, or spare part upgrades during site visits to support service growth.

Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation, or a closely related technical field.

Experience: 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in field service, troubleshooting, and maintenance of industrial equipment.

Technical Competencies

Strong proficiency in troubleshooting electrical circuits, control panels, pneumatic systems, or high-pressure gas systems.

Prior experience in the Power sector (Transmission & Distribution), Switchgear industry, or handling SF6 gas equipment is highly advantageous.

Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, P&ID diagrams, and technical manuals.

Soft Skills & Attributes

Autonomy: Proven ability to work independently at remote client sites under pressure and make sound technical decisions.

Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi to interact professionally with corporate clients and utility engineers.

Flexibility: Willingness to travel extensively and frequently on short notice across Pan-India
