Job Description
Role & responsibilities :
1. Perform routine engine check-ups and general servicing
2. Handle head radiator and intercooler maintenance
3. Diagnose and resolve engine troubleshooting issues
4. Execute half engine and full engine overhauls
5. Installation, commissioning, and servicing of marine DG sets and diesel engines
6. Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance at customer sites
7. Perform governor setting, tuning, and calibration (mechanical/electronic governors)
8. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults in DG sets
9. Ensure smooth commissioning and performance testing of engines and DG sets
10. Attend emergency breakdown calls and ensure minimum downtime
11. Prepare service reports, commissioning reports, and maintenance records
12. Coordinate with clients, shipyards, and internal technical teams
13. Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures
14. Provide technical guidance and support to customers when required
15. Ensure all service activities meet company standards and safety guidelines
