Job Description

Urgently required of Trainee Service Engineer at Shahapur (Lahe Factory), Thane.

Job Title: Trainee Service Engineer (Mechanical)

Target Experience: 0 to 2 Years (Freshers with strong practical knowledge are highly encouraged to apply)

Work Location: Lahe, Aathgaon (Base) with extensive domestic and international travel

Employment Type: Full-time / Urgent Requirement

Candidate Profile & Qualifications

Education: Diploma or B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience: 0 to 2 years. Freshers with strong practical fundamentals and an eager-to-learn attitude are welcome.

Key Responsibilities

Installation & Commissioning: Travel to client sites across India and internationally for machine installation, setup, and full commissioning.

Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and technical support on existing industrial machinery.
Plant & Equipment Handling: Oversee the installation and maintenance of perfume plant equipment, pneumatic systems, and associated tanks.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve mechanical, pneumatic, and basic electrical faults on-site.
Client Training: Train client operators on machine functionality, operations, and routine maintenance practices.
Reporting & Coordination: Prepare detailed service reports after each site visit and coordinate with the Mumbai Head Office for technical assistance and spare parts supply.

Technical & Personal Skills:

Measuring & Precision Tools: Hands-on proficiency with basic mechanical measuring instruments (Vernier calipers, micrometers, dial gauges, height gauges, pressure gauges) for quality checks and alignments.
Pneumatic Systems: Strong foundational knowledge of pneumatic components (cylinders, valves, FRL units).
Mechanical Systems: Solid understanding of mechanical principles, machine design, and assembly procedures.
Basic Electrical Knowledge: Ability to read basic electrical wiring diagrams and understand motors, sensors, and controls.
Problem Solving & Autonomy: Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with the ability to manage time effectively when working independently on-site.
Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel extensively both across India and internationally.
Passport: Holding a valid passport (or the capability to acquire one immediately) is a major advantage.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: 20,000 to 25,000 per month (negotiable based on skills and performance).
