Senior Snowflake Data Developer

Job Description

1. Minimum 6 10 years of work experience with at least two projects implementation leveraging Snowflake - either migration from traditional DWHs or a fresh implementation

2. Expert level knowledge in SQL, SnowSQL, query optimization, performance tuning etc.

3. Data Modelling: Knowledge of data modelling principles and techniques.

4. Solid work experience in AWS/ AZURE cloud platforms

5. Expertise in Snowflake concepts like setting up Data Masking, Tagging, SnowPipe, RBAC controls, virtual warehouse sizing, zero copy clone, data sharing, Snow pipe, Streams &Tasks, Time travel, Secure Data sharing, DMF, iceberg tables, Dynamic Tables, Micro Partition, Query Profiler etc.

6. Good to have Snowflake advanced concepts on Cortex AI features, search mechanism etc.

7. Cloud best Practice adoption, strategy development

8. In depth knowledge of Snowflake Virtual Warehouse, Monitoring Warehouse, Table Structures, Views, Materialized Views, Cloning etc.

9. Knowledge on Integration (ETL) and Data Ingestion, Data Conversion, and Data Migration.

10. Technically strong in Python, Pyspark

11. Exposure to tools like Jira, Confluence and Agile practices

Good to have skills:

1. Good to have Snowflake Certification
2. Good to have working experience on DBT
3. Has written technical specification document
4. Has peer reviewed documentation
5. Good analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills.
6. Good Communication and interpersonal skills
7. Client facing experience required
8. Has reviewed Functional Specification document and written technical specification document
9. Well-developed business acumen
10. Strong problem-solving skills
11. Strong sense of ownership and accountability of tasks with attention to detail

Priority would be resources who can join immediately or max 30 days notice period.
