Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer

• Execute testing across both the backend (Java Spring Boot) and frontend (Angular) applications, focusing on functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Mockito for unit and integration testing of backend services (Java Spring Boot) and tools like Selenium WebDriver or Cypress for frontend testing.
• Review project requirements and provide input on testability, ensuring requirements are clear and testable.
• Create detailed, well-structured test plans and test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage of all application features.
• Conduct manual and automated testing, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of both backend services and frontend components.
• Report, track, and assist in the resolution of defects through collaboration with development teams.
• Perform performance testing to evaluate how the application handles various loads and stress conditions.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders in Agile environments, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Advocate for quality practices, test automation, and continuous integration to improve efficiency and product quality.
• Review automated test scripts, ensuring high quality, maintainability, and reusability.
• Continuously evaluate new tools and technologies to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.

• What we are looking for:

• Bachelor s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, particularly with web applications built on Java Spring Boot and Angular.
• Strong experience with Mockito for unit and integration testing in Java.
• Strong experience with automated testing frameworks for Java (e.g., JUnit, TestNG) and Angular (e.g., Jasmine, Karma, Protractor).
• Proficiency in Java and familiarity with the Spring Boot ecosystem.
• Languages with web automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver or Cypress, particularly for testing Angular applications.
• Languages with API testing and tools like Postman, Rest Assured, or SOAP UI.
• Expertise in writing and executing test cases, test plans, and test scripts for both frontend and backend.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Languages with GitLab and GitHub for version control and collaboration.
• Languages with continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Languages with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Familiarity with containerization tools (e.g., Docker) and cloud technologies.
• Understanding of security testing best practices.
