Position: QA Tester

Experience: 3 to 5 Years

Location: Marol, Andheri, Mumbai

Working Days: 5 days in the office.

Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented QA Tester to join our growing technology team. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in manual testing, API testing, SQL, and defect tracking while working in a fast-paced Agile environment.

You will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our applications by identifying bugs, improving testing processes, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements, user stories, and use cases for feasibility and testability

• Prepare detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test data

• Execute different levels of testing including Functional, System, API, Regression, and UAT testing

• Identify, log, track, and report software defects effectively

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues

• Validate APIs and database-level testing using SQL queries

• Ensure product quality throughout the Agile development lifecycle • Maintain proper QA documentation and testing reports

• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and QA discussions

• Suggest process improvements to enhance product quality and testing efficiency

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in Software Testing or QA role

• Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and defect lifecycle

• Hands-on experience in Manual Testing and API Testing

• Good knowledge of SQL queries and database validation

• Experience with tools like Jira and GitHub

• Basic understanding of Agile methodology

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

• Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills

• Strong sense of ownership and accountability

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Selenium automation testing will be an added advantage

• Basic understanding of PHP/Laravel is preferred but not mandatory

• Exposure to FinTech/NBFC domain will be a plus
