Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the QA team to ensure the quality of deliverables meets or exceeds client expectations.
• Develop and implement QA processes, procedures, and standards to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Plan, prioritize, and allocate QA resources based on project requirements and deadlines.
• Conduct regular quality assurance reviews and audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and project management, to ensure alignment on quality objectives and deliverables.
• Mentor and coach QA team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
• Proficiency in Postman testing is essential.
• Knowledge of E-commerce testing is required.

Skills required:

• Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or similar tools to automate test cases and improve testing efficiency.
• Experience in testing APIs using tools like Postman, SOAPUI, or similar tools to ensure the functionality, reliability, and performance of web services.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar tools to assess the performance, scalability, and stability of applications under various load conditions.
• Ability to write and execute SQL queries to perform database testing, including data validation, data integrity, and data manipulation testing.
• Proficiency in test management tools such as HP ALM, JIRA, or similar tools to plan, execute, and track test activities, manage test cases, and report defects.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git, SVN, or similar tools to manage test scripts, test data, and other testing artifacts.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience in integrating automated tests into CI/CD workflows for continuous testing and delivery.
• Knowledge of testing techniques and strategies specific to e-commerce applications, including transaction testing, checkout process testing, and payment gateway testing.
• Experience in testing mobile applications across different platforms (iOS, Android) and devices to ensure compatibility, functionality, and usability.
• Understanding of security testing principles and techniques to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities in software applications, including penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, and security code reviews.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in quality assurance, with at least 4+ years in a leadership or management role.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Proven leadership abilities, including the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
