Senior Production Engineer

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day production and assembly operations to ensure smooth workflow.
Execute production plans and achieve productivity, quality, cost, and delivery targets.
Coordinate with Planning, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams for uninterrupted production.
Monitor production schedules, line efficiency, throughput, cycle time, and downtime.
Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Drive Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, TPM, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Improve First Pass Yield (FPY), reduce rework and rejection rates, and enhance process efficiency.
Supervise and train production operators and technicians while ensuring compliance with SOPs and safety standards.
Prepare production reports and track key performance indicators.

Qualifications & Experience:

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, or Automobile Engineering.
510 years of experience in assembly and manufacturing operations.
Strong knowledge of Production Planning, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, TPM, RCA, FMEA, and quality tools.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and team management skills.
