Security is core to what we build, and we're looking for a Product Manager who's passionate about building secure, scalable, and user-centric products.
Seclore seeks an experienced Product Manager with deep expertise in managing large-scale data, its architecture, and transforming it into actionable insights, along with strong technical expertise and client-facing skills.
This role involves launching a new product, connecting clients, industry experts, and our technical team to define data-driven use cases and outcomes. Strong communication skills, solid understanding of data platforms and analytics, and efficient project management in complex, data-rich environments are essential.
Responsibilities Requirements Gathering - Collaborate with security architects, engineers, and compliance teams to gather technical, data, and regulatory requirements, including how large-scale data is captured, stored, and protected.
- Translate complex cybersecurity and data architecture needs into clear product specifications, data contracts, and user stories that guide implementation.
- Understand end-user journeys and instrument product experiences to gather usage, performance, and security metrics, enabling evaluation of new features' effectiveness and data-driven decision-making.
- Understand the full Seclore product suite functionally and be the expert for the product modules owned by you, including how they integrate with enterprise data platforms and pipelines.
- Know various user personas, their business context, and their data needs, such as reporting, analytics, and insight generation.
- Understand the technology environment, including devices, operating systems, browsers, and the underlying data architecture (data flows, storage, APIs, and integrations) that powers product capabilities.
- Partner with engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle to ensure secure design and implementation of data flows and storage patterns at scale.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups to provide product and data-related guidance, clarify instrumentation requirements, and prioritize insight-generating features.
- Ensure security is embedded in all stages of the product lifecycle while balancing observability, logging, and analytics needs for large volumes of product data.
- Work on integrating security tools and frameworks (e.g., SIEM, IAM, DLP) into the product ecosystem and associated data pipelines, ensuring events are captured and modeled for actionable insights.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for security features, APIs, workflows, data models, and compliance mappings, including how product data is collected and used for analytics.
- Act as a liaison between product, engineering, security, data, and compliance teams to align on data strategy, metrics, and architecture decisions.
- Support Product leaders and GTM leaders with technical and data insights, feasibility assessments, and recommendations on how to leverage Seclore data for customer outcomes.
- Ensure product features and data handling practices align with internal security policies and external regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS), including data retention and access controls.
- Assist in security audits and risk assessments by providing clear visibility into product data flows, architecture, and evidence from product usage analytics.
- A technical degree (Engineering, MCA) and business degree (MBA) from a reputed institute.
- 5+ years of experience in B2B product management, technical program management, or cybersecurity engineering.
- Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating closely with engineering teams.
- Ability to break down complex technical problems into simple, actionable steps.
- Strong analytical, organizational skills.
- Experience working in a software product organization as a product consultant, product owner, business analyst or functional expert in the product team.
- Proven experience working with large-scale data platforms, understanding data architecture, and using product data to derive actionable insights and drive decision-making.
- Technical background in software either from software development or systems perspective.
- Awareness and exposure to User Experience design practices.
- Experience in information security procedures and practices.
- Initiative to take up responsibility and ownership of tasks and ensure end to end delivery and completion with the highest level of quality.
