Role & responsibilities : SOP Implementation : Design, implement, and ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for streamlined and efficient operations. Operational Audits: Conduct regular checks and audits to ensure compliance and identify process gaps. Process Adherence: Monitor and enforce adherence to operational processes, driving accountability across teams. Data-Driven Analysis: Analyze operational data to identify bottlenecks, propose effective solutions, and improve efficiency. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various teams to address operational queries and ensure smooth workflows. Problem Solving: Adapt and respond effectively to dynamic challenges in a fast-paced environment. Evaluate and select suppliers, develop existing suppliers, and manage supplier contracts. Implement cost reduction strategies and monitor industry trends. Team Management & Operational Excellence: Lead and develop a team, fostering a collaborative environment. Utilize advanced procurement and inventory management approach. Ensure compliance with import and export processes, and cost optimization. Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management: Drive procurement strategies to achieve cost, delivery, and quality objectives. Additional Responsibilities: Create and edit operational reports. Track and monitor EDI timelines for shipping lines. Resolve shipping line queries in collaboration with the operations team. Approve reuse transactions. Preferred Candidate Profile: - Preferable experience in working with container lines, logistics companies, container reuse.
