International Logistics Manager - Pharmaceuticals

Job Description Oversee efficient Ocean/air shipping of pharmaceutical products. Liaise with CHAs (Customs House Agents), Freight Forwarders, and Transporters. Negotiate prices to reduce logistics costs and obtain the most competitive air/sea freight rates for each shipment. Plan the most expeditious routing and track all shipments. Ensure satisfactory documentation for timely Customs and ADC clearance. Prepare accurate shipping documentation. Liaise with banks for export documents. Manage transportation between manufacturing plants, warehouses and CHAs. Liaise to claim export benefits like RoDTEP. Handle freight claims and complaints. Manage the import process of some goods from China. Anticipate and resolve day-to-day issues, complete failure root cause analysis, and take corrective actions. Develop and implement global transportation cost-saving programs for year-over-year savings. Requirements Must have 5-10 years of experience in logistics for pharmaceutical exports. Knowledge of end-to-end logistics operations (including air/ocean, over-the-road transportation, customs and warehousing) with cross-country shipments. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must have strong Excel skills. Experience working in Microsoft Teams will be an added advantage.
