Senior Credit Manager

Job Description

As a Credit Manager, your primary responsibility will be to assess and manage the creditworthiness of customers and clients to minimize credit risk and ensure timely payment of outstanding balances
You will play a crucial role in protecting the financial interests of the company while maintaining positive relationships with customers

Responsibilities:

Evaluate the creditworthiness of new and existing customers by analyzing their financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant information
Establish and enforce credit limits for customers based on their creditworthiness and risk assessment
Develop and implement credit policies and procedures to minimize bad debt and optimize cash flow
Conduct credit checks and review credit applications to determine credit terms and conditions
Monitor and manage the accounts receivable portfolio to ensure timely collection of outstanding balances
Contact customers to follow up on overdue payments and negotiate payment plans or settlements when necessary
