Job Description

Your role
  • Process salary, reimbursements, gratuity, superannuation, EPFO, and other statutory benefits in accordance with company policies and statutory requirements.
  • Manage vendor invoices end to end, including validation, accruals, reclassifications, and amortization prior to submission for payment.
  • Support bookkeeping and accounting activities related to payroll and benefits expenses.
  • Perform headcount and benefits reconciliations across HR, payroll, benefits, and finance systems.
  • Manage and coordinate vendor agreements and medical insurance renewals GTL, for the Mumbai office.
  • Respond to employee and statutory benefit queries, ensuring timely resolution in line with defined SLAs.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, audit trails, and compliance with internal controls and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Identify and drive opportunities for process improvement, standardization, and simplification to enhance productivity and compliance, influencing change at a regional level.
  • Partner effectively with third party payroll and benefits providers to ensure seamless, compliant, and high quality service delivery, and manage vendor relationships at a regional level.
  • Continuously build and share subject matter expertise by staying current on internal updates, regulatory changes, and industry best practices.
  • Provide ad hoc operational support for assigned processes as required.

Education & Qualifications
  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Commerce, Accounting, HR or a related field is required.
  • Minimum 3 - 6 years of relevant experience in payroll and benefits administration in India
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Strong knowledge of India Payroll, EPF, statutory compliances, Personal taxation etc.
  • Exposure to Employee Benefits like Insurance, National Pension Scheme is required.
  • Knowledge of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP Act) of India and the obligations related to the collection, use, protection, and handling of personal data.
  • Good understanding of labor laws and compliances
  • Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
  • Self-starter, highly motivated and innovative
  • Must be flexible with work hours if required.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the firm are required.
  • Experienced working with regional or global team set-ups/stakeholders would be a strong advantage.
