Senior Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking an ambitious individual who is dedicated to changing their lives over the next few years, by working in a challenging but highly rewarding payments role.
This is an opportunity for a self-starter – someone with big ambitions, but also the urgency and resilience to achieve them.
Ideally you will have experience in processing international payments and a good knowledge of KYC and compliance processes.
You will have excellent numerical skills with an eye for detail and be efficient at managing your time.
This is a broad role providing first line payments support with the key purpose being to undertake a variety of tasks to aid back office processes and planning operations whilst ensuring that principles and controls for risk management are adhered to and monitored.
The role will give the successful candidate a great insight into the inner workings of an advanced technology system and will make them extremely well placed to develop their career path as opportunities arise in any of operations, sales, product or finance teams.

Key Responsibilities

Review and action all intraday exception queues. Prioritise exceptions by the currency deadline and value date.
Monitor the Front Office/Back Office reconciliation.
Liaise with counterparties for any unconfirmed trade instructions
Follow up with counterparties for any cash non-receipts (where relevant)
Provide daily reporting as agreed with senior management
Ensuring accurate and timely monitoring and settlement of all trades
Ensure that procedures relevant to the role are kept up-to-date and recorded in the relevant share drive.
