Urgent opening with reputed TIC Company (Testing, Inspection & Certification) for the position of Safety Officer at Mumbai & Pune
No of Vacancies: 3
Employment Type: FTC (Fixed-Term Contract)
Qualification: Graduate / Diploma in Industrial Safety
Experience: 3-8 years of experience in fit-out works & site safety activities.
Key competencies:
- Strong knowledge of construction and fit-out safety practices.
- Good understanding of HSE regulations, permits, and compliance standards.
- Experience in safety inspections, audits, toolbox talks, and risk assessments.
- Knowledge of PPE compliance, emergency response, and incident management.
- Proficiency in MS Office and safety documentation.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Ensure implementation of safety procedures across project sites.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and identify unsafe conditions.
- Monitor PPE compliance and safe working practices at site.
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness sessions.
- Maintain safety reports, permits, records, and compliance documents.
- Investigate incidents/accidents and prepare corrective action reports.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and project teams on safety matters.
- Ensure emergency preparedness and response measures are implemented.
- Monitor housekeeping, material handling, and work-at-height activities.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and client-specific safety requirements.
