- Statutory Compliance (Localization): Configuration of complex tax logic, Section 80 deductions, Form 16 generation, Provident Fund (PF), and ESI calculations.
- Post-Payroll Activities: Configuration of Third-Party Remittance and Off-Cycle payroll runs (Bonus, corrections).
C. Organizational Management (OM) & Personnel Administration (PA)
- Enterprise Structure: Complex mapping of Personnel Areas, Sub-areas, Employee Groups, and Sub-groups.
- Dynamic Actions: Writing complex Dynamic Actions (Table T588Z) to trigger automatic infotype operations (e.g., auto-creating a bank record upon hiring).

D. Integration & Cross-Functional
- HCM-FI Integration: Expertise in configuring Symbolic Accounts, Wage Type posting attributes, and troubleshooting Posting Runs (RPCIPE00) errors (Balance sheet vs. Expense accounts).
- ESS/MSS: Backend configuration for Employee Self-Service (Leave requests, Payslips) and Manager Self-Service (Approvals), specifically regarding Workflow triggers.
3. Technical & Troubleshooting Skills
- Debugging: Ability to use the ABAP Debugger to analyze standard payroll driver programs or time evaluation errors.
- Data Migration: Hands-on experience with LSMW (Batch Input Recording) for mass upload of Master Data (Infotypes 0000, 0001, 0006, 0008, etc.).
- Reporting: Creating custom reports using Ad Hoc Query (Infoset Query) and Wage Type Reporter.
- Feature Configuration: Writing logic for complex Features (e.g., TARIF, NUMKR, QUOMO) to default values based on employee criteria.
4. Candidate Profile
- Experience: 45 years of specific SAP HCM configuration experience.
- Project History: Must have delivered 1 Full Lifecycle Implementation (Blueprint to Go-Live) and 2 Support Projects involving Year-End activities.
- Key Differentiator: Candidates who can write custom PCRs (operations like ADDWT, AMT=, RTE=, MULTI) without ABAP help will be preferred.
