Role & responsibilities

Room Cleaning

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms according to hotel standards
• Make beds with fresh linens and arrange pillows properly
• Dust furniture, fixtures, and decorative items
• Vacuum carpets and mop bathroom floors

Bathroom Maintenance

• Scrub and disinfect toilets, sinks, showers, and bathtubs
• Polish mirrors, chrome fixtures, and glass surfaces
• Replenish towels, toiletries, and bathroom amenities
• Empty trash bins and replace liners

Room Setup

• Replenish in-room amenities (coffee, tea, water, stationery)
• Replace used glassware and restock minibars
• Arrange furniture and ensure room presentation meets standards
• Check and report any damaged or missing items

Inspection & Reporting

• Inspect rooms for maintenance issues or repairs needed
• Report damaged furniture, fixtures, or equipment to supervisors
• Note missing items or guest property left behind
• Ensure all electrical appliances and lights are functioning

Inventory Management

• Collect and organize cleaning supplies on trolley
• Track linen usage and return soiled items to laundry
• Maintain adequate stock of amenities and cleaning products
• Handle guest laundry if requested

Guest Service

• Respond politely to guest requests during cleaning
• Respect guest privacy and "Do Not Disturb" signs
• Deliver extra items (towels, pillows, amenities) upon request
• Report urgent guest needs to front desk or supervisor

Safety & Standards

• Follow proper chemical handling and safety procedures
• Maintain cleanliness standards and complete assigned quota
• Secure guest rooms after cleaning
• Adhere to lost and found protocols
